Mission

AQT was founded with a single mission focused on taking full advantage of the flexibility and versatility of the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) Quality Management System Standards.  This mission is to provide Client Organizations with innovative approaches for the design, development, and energized implementation of the QMS they desire and satisfaction of their customer’s performance requirements. 

Meet Our Experienced Team

• Robert A. Payonk, Chief Executive Office/President and Owner  

Robert is passionately dedicated to auditing, consulting and training assignments utilizing his AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 IAQG Certifications and Industry Experience.  Prior to Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) Certification, he worked for several Aerospace DOD Contractors, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and NASA.  His 30+ years experience includes numerous assignments in Mission Assurance, System Assurance, Reliability and Quality as an Engineer and Manager.  This experience includes; internal auditing, supplier assessments/ auditing, 1st Articles Inspections, quality program/ system/ software/ hardware development QMS implementation to ISO, AS9100 and CMMI Level 5.  His background includes projects in satellite communication, satellite instruments, directed energy lasers, airframe repair, overhaul and modification, network software and ground/airborne communications equipment.

Robert attained his BSMT from Purdue University, MBA in Management from St. Francis College, and is currently certified as a Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, Reliability Engineer, Quality Engineer, Software Quality Engineer and Quality Auditor by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).  He also has held NASA and IPC Inspector Certifications in hand soldering, surface mount technology, polymerics and cable, crimp and harness workmanship.
